Chicken Pox or Chiggers...you be the judge?

So after a HUGE hell week at work, 40+ hours of OVERTIME in addition to my regular hours, I wake up covered in what looks like bites. Yes, bites.

Now Ive got 600 different people saying its either chiggers (which might make sense cuz I have been out at my moms in the country alot lately) OR I have chicken pox. I'm 28, and have never had them. SO now I have a nurse person stopping by the house (full of people that have ran like hell as soon as they saw me) to check and see what the hell is going on.

I really dont have time for this ****...honestly...I dont. DAMN IT I DONT HAVE TIME TO BE SICK! RAWR!

Anybody a doctor or nurse around here so I can post a pic or something. If this is REALLY chicken pox, then I gotta stay the hell away from everyone. If its just chiggers, its not big deal.

If they are chiggers they would be concentrated on your legs. If they are all over your body, it's more likely to be rash/allergic reaction/pox. Have you had chicken pox before? It's very rare to get them more than once.

here is a comparison of the two. Notice that my marks are more hollowed out, and lack the puss usually involved in chicken pox....man am i praying its not chicken pox

and this is what I have. I have about 4 of these big ones, then the rest are on my head/face. only one of my stomach which is odd for pox.

I doubt it is chiggers, it looks to be a bite, maybe bed bugs!

While I don't think it's necessarily Pox either, that's not a decision for us to make. My Dad never had Chicken Pox either, so when I got them as a kid, my doctor (and his) said I wasn't allowed to see him for at least two weeks because I could risk killing him. Adults immune systems don't react the same way to it that kids do.

So even if you don't have insurance, hit up a RediMed or StatCare or something like that. I think my doctor charges $150/visit before insurance, so I'll bet you're looking at the same. Small price to pay to figure out what the hell you have, mang.

As you can see, some have already popped and scabbed over. Ive been told this is a good sign in terms of progression. Meaning the worst may have already passed.

Also, I cannot walk anymore. meet feet are beat up pretty bad too. Any pressure just sends me to the floor in pain. Looks like its movies and chips/pop in bed for a few more days. Today is Day 4.

OMFG Todd, did you go to the doctor?? That looks so painful hun. DO you have cortizone cream? Try putting that on in a small area and see what happens, but more and more it looks like pox, which means you need some medication.

In case some of you dont know, there is no cure for fix all for Chicken pox. It's viral. You basically cope with it. By coping with it I mean what Ive been doing for 4 days now. Oatmeal Aveeno Bath once or twice a day. 2 showers on top of that, and then covering myself in calydryl lotion head to toe.

Ive been fortunate actually. My itching has been very minimal. Doctor's now tell you to stay at home and dont subject the office to widespread contamination considering how contagious chicken pox is.

To be honest, besides my feet, which I literally cant walk, Im doing ok. Its more mental than anything. Sleep can suck, but honestly, me sitting in a basement for 4 days, is mroe torture than the virus itself.

That being said, Sam if you have any of "those pictures" of my favorite female from up north......

....now would be a good time to enlighten my thoughts. lol

Yes, I look like a zombie...or even the guys who got hit with the green gas from The Rock, but damnit....I'm still all man in the head.

And before some dip**** asks, My Unit is PERFECTLY fine, and managed to stay clear of all this.....this just proves once again that my penis is in fact, from Krypton.

Ive talked to three. Saw one in person at my dad's house. Theres nothing they can do. It's well known amongst the medical field theres no drug to make ti go away.

I went native american on this virus. A couple of things from the local natural goods market and Im already healing in some places. Sometimes the best rememdies are old natural medicine, instead of all the pharma-vultures.
